No shea, not local, I'm familiar with both. I like Blue Moon sometimes it's just too citrusy. I got to really be in the mood for it... like in the middle of the afternoon on a hot sunny summer day.
No problem sassyfemme, You might actually enjoy that Blue Moon. People that aren't beer drinkers tend to like it. But I suggest picking up a six pack of both and enjoy a taste test.
t2, I used to be all over that Pete's Summer Brew! I was angry when I couldn't find it anymore- Pete's sucks now, I don't know what happened. As you know my beer of choice is Sam Adams Summer Ale but while I wait for that to hit the stores this White Ale has become a staple in my fridge.

I'm thinking that Blue Moon and/or Spotted Cow are noteworthy, but that might be a local thing.
