I know what you mean. I have been trying to arrange it so I have at least a day between returning home & returning to work. It won't always be possible-certainly is always preferable.
I am having Wrigley field withdrawl- I even miss the crowds on the red line....OK, maybe not that, but I do miss Chitown, wishing I could have a "do-over". Welcome back to real life- and here's to the next vaca.
I took a down day after I returned from Oregon and California...I came home and kept looking around and wondering how the hell I managed to end up in Nebraska with all this muggy weather. In San Francisco, I wore a sweater and loved it...
It does suck to go back to ork, R.D. One of the attorneys at the firm just came back from a 7 week sabbatical in Europe (yeah, life is tough for partners) and I KNOW he's in a major adjustment phase.
Good luck and just think about the next vacation and then when we'll all get together again. :)
only daughter, That day in between is definately important- you're so right.
shea, Wrigley withdrawl? shit, good luck with that. At least you can just get in your car and be here in Chicago in time for cocktails and dinner. A do-over for you is actually quite possible! I'm so glad you had a fun time! But yes, welcome back to real life and here's a toast to the next vacation.(or to Wrigley Field)
I'm hanging afunt, but with only my pinky finger. I know you know.
maria, good question and one I wonder about myself: Why Neraska? Now I'm wondering about the whole Mid-West thing in general. Get me back to the coast. Thanks for the welcome... it'll all be good. (I think)
