How depressing is today? on a scale of 1-10 it's up there pretty damn far. Labor Day completely sucks; how anyone can have a party and celebrate the day is beyond me. Next year I'm having a party though- not to celebrate, but to commiserate. Maybe it'll just be more of a celebration that summer actually exists- period.

I used to hate labor day when I was a kid because it meant that we had to go back to school the next day. Nowadays, though, the kids start so much earlier. Liv has been in school for a week already.....
I frankly like any day where where I have the day off from work. But, yes, there was a hint of sadness as we grilled out burgers in the 90 degree heat. Another month and we will be making chili in the crockpot instead of grilling out...
Cheer up...still lots more days until the snow flies.

Though easily my favorite season, I am actually heardling the end of summer, as this brings me closer to my next chance at vacation days-and my trip south.
Still, I feel for you. Maybe the summer weather will hang around for awhile yet. :)
