I'm all for going out to a cool bar for a cocktail or two but come on now, these type of places are absolutely ridiculous.I was thinking about them as I sit here in the warmth of my home with my new found honkin bottle of red vino and a soft comfy couch. I think at noon today it was 2 degrees... 2.... When I ran into the bookstore from my parking spot my snot literally froze upon dripping. Now that's just totally wrong. I think the windchill tomorrow is supposed to feel like it's negative 20. NEGATIVE 20! yikes.
I want to know who the hell actually chooses to go to bars like these and why, and what's with the blanket on that ice couch- like that works? When I'm so cold I can't think, let alone open my mouth wide enough to get an alcoholic beverage down there. And to drink with mittens on?! These people scare me. Just please give me the Beachcomer in August. Actually, just give me some red wine and a warm body.

Yeah, I don't get it either. Of course, we left the nice warm comfort of our house to go sit in a cold ice rink to watch a hockey game. So I guess I have no room to talk.
You would have to be insane. INSANE. But, then I don't understand people who sit outside during heat waves either.

Even though an ice rink isn't the warmest place in the world at least there's a good reason the place is so cold. So you're off the hook.
I guess you're right maria but put me on a sidewalk in the sun with temps in the 90's and I'm good to go- But I hear you,78 is fine.
